Welcome to Autumn 2012 at Lina’s!
The sun has lost its sting for another year and the leaves are falling, as we find ourselves in Autumn. The beginning of this new season has heralded the arrival of Raf’s fresh new Autumn menu, with ‘confit lamb’ Parisian gnocchi, slow-braised french-style chicken, roasted fig prosciutto and blue cheese tarte and sautéed spinach with Persian feta and toasted almonds, being just a small selection of one of Raf’s best menus to date.
In addition to the new menu we are now running a two course ‘Prix Fixe’ (set-price menu) for $35 per person every night of the week. On a Saturday night we are also running a three course ‘Prix Fixe’ for $45. The ‘Prix Fixe’ menus are slightly reduced portions, but still fantastic value for money and one of the best ways to enjoy all of Raf’s culinary skills….as Peter says “the boy can really cook!” and we all completely agree!
Other news is that we now have Christophe Genoux playing every weekend on a Sunday with his band ‘Metro Mademoiselle’ and we will be having the Opera singers come back again in the next few weeks as well.
A new wine list will be up and running shortly and Peter has been asking new kid on the block, Jack for his input…it’s looking really great!
As ever Shae, Molly, young Ben and manager Ben are on hand at Lina’s to help out with wine or menu suggestions, or just to have a chat with you at the end of a long day. We hope to see you soon at Lina’s to experience our new Autumn menu or just a relaxed glass of vin rouge.
